Offline POS software that doesn’t stop when the internet does

Your database lives on your own device. Internet outages don’t freeze the till, don’t lose sales and don’t leave customers waiting.

Local first, by design

Many POS systems are a web page in disguise: no connection, no checkout. Here the application and its database run on your PC, and your hardware is connected directly to it. The internet is an extra, not a dependency.

  • Keep selling and taking payments
  • Keep scanning products
  • Keep managing stock
  • Keep printing receipts
  • Keep using local terminals on your network (Pro)
  • Keep sending restaurant orders to the kitchen (Pro)
Offline-first POS architecture Your POS device holds the local database and connects directly to a barcode scanner, receipt printer, cash drawer and customer display. What needs the internet — and what doesn’t

An honest breakdown.

Works offline

Checkout, barcode scanning, receipts, stock updates, customers, suppliers, local reports and local network terminals.

Needs internet

The initial download, paid licence activation, software updates, external integrations and the AI Business Assistant.

Protect your data

Because data is local, backups matter. Go and Pro include scheduled automatic backups and restore.

Why it matters

What a local database means day to day.

  1. No lost sales during outages.
  2. No waiting for a server to respond at the till.
  3. No cloud database required for normal operation.
  4. Your data on your premises, protected by automatic backups on paid plans.

Frequently asked questions

Does the POS need an internet connection to sell?

No. The database is stored locally on your Windows PC, so selling, scanning, receipts and stock updates work without internet.

When do I need the internet?

For the initial download, paid licence activation, updates, external integrations and the AI Business Assistant.

Is my data stored in the cloud?

No cloud database is used for normal local operation. Your business data is stored on your own computer. Go and Pro include automatic backup and restore tools.

Do extra tills work offline too?

On Pro, extra terminals, kitchen screens and waiter devices connect to the main PC over your local network, which does not require internet access.
